An alumnus of the Georgia Institute of Technology, Matthew Musheno earned a BS in mechanical engineering with a minor in political science. The recipient of a HOPE Scholarship and the Louise M. Fitten Scholarship, he distinguished himself academically making the dean’s list and, concurrent to his studies, worked to pay for the remainder of his tuition and his living expenses. Graduating in 1999, Matthew Musheno went on to serve as an account executive at Johnson Controls.
At Johnson Controls, Mr. Musheno is responsible for account management responsibilities in Atlanta, Georgia, and manages engineers, architects, client accounts, and construction firms while leading his team. He quickly established himself as an effective and productive salesman and successfully transformed two distressed customer accounts into multi-million-dollar revenue earners. By 2001 he was within the top 3 percent of Johnson Controls sales professionals worldwide. Matthew Musheno has maintained this ranking year after year until the present day. He was ranked as number one in the United States for Johnson Controls Building Efficiency from 2010 to 2014.
